BIO
Jake started his legal career in the US Army Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps where he served primarily as a Military Prosecutor and a Trial Defense Counsel. While in the army Jake traveled all over the United States for cases. He tried cases  ranging from misdemeanor level drug offenses to serious rape charges from Hawaii and Washington to Kansas and Kentucky. Upon completion of his military service, Jake worked in commercial litigation and as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney before deciding that he preferred the client-focused practice of defense work. Jake has an abiding love for the courtroom and enjoys utilizing the negotiation and litigation skills that he has gained through his experience as a trial attorney to help our clients meet their goals.

In his off time Jake enjoys sailing the beautiful waters of Puget Sound, fly-fishing (not catching) our local rivers, and spending time with his family.

BIO

Matt began his legal career as an assistant public defender in Georgia, immediately handling the most serious and complex felony cases. During his time there he was called to active duty from his reserve status to represent the interests of Soldiers facing discharge and seeking compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs for injuries incurred in the line of duty. This opportunity provided him a greater insight into how necessary a good attorney is for those who are injured or disabled, and inspired him to continue advocating for those seeking just compensation. Following his reserve mobilization, Matt transitioned to active duty service, spending four years serving as a military prosecutor, military defense attorney, and legal advisor to a Special Forces commander.

Matt left active duty in 2019 to continue his passion for litigation and advocacy on behalf of those who require skilled and compassionate legal representation. He brings an unmatched tenacity and thoughtfulness to his advocacy for his clients. In his free time, Matt loves taking advantage of the wonderful outdoor activities in the Puget Sound area with his wife and twin daughters.
